First Impressions Team

Creating a Welcoming Experience for Every Guest

At Real Love, we believe that every person who walks through our doors should feel seen, valued, and loved. Our First Impressions Team plays a vital role in making that happen by providing a warm, welcoming, and helpful environment from the parking lot to the sanctuary.

Whether it’s someone’s first time visiting or their hundredth Sunday, our goal is to reflect the love of Christ in every smile, handshake, and act of service.

Who We Are

The First Impressions Team includes:
 • Parking Attendants – The first friendly face people see! Our team directs traffic, assists with parking, and helps guests feel safe and at ease as soon as they arrive.
 • Greeters – Positioned at doors and entrances, greeters welcome people with a smile, offer assistance, answer questions, and help first-time guests get where they need to go.
 • Ushers – Inside the worship space, ushers help guests find seating, distribute materials (bulletins, communion, etc.), and ensure that the service environment is comfortable, safe, and distraction-free.

What We Do

 • Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels like they belong
 • Provide helpful information to new and returning guests
 • Assist with logistics before, during, and after services
 • Support a smooth worship experience through organization and hospitality
 • Represent the heart of the church—serving others with joy and kindness

Why It Matters

For many people, their experience with the First Impressions Team sets the tone for how they perceive the church—and sometimes even the gospel. That’s why we strive to serve with intentionality, compassion, and joy, making every person feel at home and ready to encounter God.

Join the Team

If you have a heart for hospitality, a friendly smile, and a desire to serve others, the First Impressions Team is a great place to get involved! Whether you love welcoming people, organizing spaces, or just being available to help, there’s a place for you.

“Welcome one another, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” – Romans 15:7

Let’s be the reason someone feels at home before they ever hear a word from the stage.
